Details
These crash pads offer the best possible protection if a crash was not avoidable. The brand new compound plastic can absorb forces of a crash without braking. Not only very usable but also good looking. They come with a special holder so no drilling or cutting the fairing is necessary.
Installs in minutes using basic hand tools.
Our Take:
Over the last few years, we've seen many framesliders for the 2006+ F800ST come across our desk. Some were cheap, but required drilling holes in the fairing. Others were very expensive. The Hornig framesliders seems to have hit the sweet spot. Here's why:
First and foremost, the cost -- these are the least expensive sliders that don't make you cut or drill anything. Additionally, they are small enough to be understated but function as expected. The quality is top-notch (after all, they're made in Germany!) and the instructions are excellent as well. (they're posted in the second tab)
If you need help with them, we're the go-to guys as well due to the fact we're the importer for Hornig in the US.

Questions on Hornig Engine Framesliders (F800ST)
- From Phoebus McGinty at 3/3/12 9:26 AM
- Do these have the same attach points to the engine/frame the others offered for the ST?
- Yes - the Hornig mounts almost identically to the SW-Motech and the GSG-Moto setup. A mild steel plate bolts to the frame, sticks out of the holes in the fairing, and the slider bolts directly to that.
- Do you find this question helpful? Yes No
Customer Reviews
- So far so good. Review by Laker

These were easy to install, feel very sturdy, look good against my black bike and are easy to remove when it comes to take the fairing off. Fortunately I haven't put them to use in an accident... (Posted on 5/14/12)Overall Rating
