Constructed of heavy-duty mild steel, SW-MOTECH crashbars are designed to provide maximum protection, optical integration, and high-quality fit and finish

All components are protected against corrosion by sandblasting and powdercoating. High-strength frame mounting points. Black.

Installs using basic hand tools on either the F800GS or F650GS Twin.

Very strong but heavy Review by ShaunC

These bars are extremely strong and and will protect your bike from most anything other than being T-boned by a Kenworth. However be warned they are very heavy!! Mine weighed in at around 11 ibs including all the fasteners and spacers. Not ideal if you are trying to keep the bike light for technical off road riding. I have since switched to some Jesses which are about 5 lbs lighter, albeit with less protection. (Posted on 10/17/11)

I received these crash bars promptly, installed then easily on my new bike and I love the way they blend in with the frame of the bike as if they were always there. Gives me great peace of mind to have them in case I have a mishap. Great service from F800depot.
