Looks great!Review by Ivar

Talked the dealer into buying&mounting these babies on my F800ST.
They look great! No shame in having them. The installation was quite a bit of work, I watched the guy put it on from a distance, but it's nothing one couldn't do himself with the right tools.

Haven't "tested" them as of yet, and i hope it stays like that. But they feel hard/rugged. :) (Posted on 7/3/13)

I like it, Much better then the round knob sliders, though the manual is poor and not user friendly, (Posted on 9/19/12)

I originally went with the SW Motech's because of the good looking design and because I didn't want to drill into my fairing. They are a heavy duty piece of serious equipment nicely designed to protect your bike. If you're a bit mechanically inclined, the installation is a breeze. Each slider has 3 bolts. 2 mount to existing holes and the third requires the removal of an existing bolt that is replaced with the factory included longer bolt. Make sure you have a large torx bit and metric allen key or bit. As I write this, I can't remember the sizes of the allen keys, but I think they were 6mm. There was a part missing from the factory but a quick call to f800depot's customer service rectified the problem. The instructions are not very good, and they only include instructions for right side, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out. The fairing has to be removed and they bolt onto existing holes. VERY IMPORTANT - make sure to put the correct spacers on the correct side. THEY ARE DIFFERENT. The left side is 2mm longer. Unfortunately I got to "try" them out. Luckily they did exactly what they're supposed to do. While I was practicing slow turns in a parking lot, I got a bit too far over and ended up dropping the bike. My mirrors got a bit scratched up and the pucks have some damage. That's it. I don't even think my mirrors would have gotten scratched up had I not put extenders on them. A bit pricey, but i would buy them again. Now to order the replacement pucks.... (Posted on 5/22/12)

Nice! Fit and finish is great. Strong. Looks are good too! Much better then the round knob sliders. Might be used as a mount for a camera too? (Posted on 4/13/12)
Great Customer ServiceReview by Walter
I installed the right side easily. When doing the left side, I realized they had shipped two right-side mounting brackets in error. I emailed my concerns and customer service called me back right away and then shipped the correct part immediately. Mistakes happen, but it's refreshing to have a company be so responsive to its customers. I love the sliders! (Posted on 11/29/11)
Great crash protectionReview by tj
I installed my set about six months ago. Good instructions. I took a spill at a low water crossing in central Texas. The right side took the hit. The puck took a scuff at the lower edge, and a small scuff by the alternator fairing. Thats about it. I'm very happy with these. (Posted on 7/30/11)
They are bigger than they look in the pictureReview by Mark
My set came with instructions on how to install the right side, but nothing about how to install the left side. Still, it wasn't too tough to figure out. I needed to look at the parts list to determine which spacers went on which side. I used blue thread-lock on all the screws (except the label screws) even though the instructions were silent about this.

There are several bolt standoff spacers that come as part of the kit. Be aware that they have subtle size differences that you have to figure out... use the parts list to learn which size goes to which side.

The bracket & bolt arrangement is completely solid... I have no doubt it can take a beating.

They look good too. Kinda future-ish.
