Details

Designed and constructed by Wild@Heart in South Africa with a laser-focued goal the most protective crashbar on the market, this is the newest setup on our site.

  • This crash bar is constructed to fit the BMW F800GS perfectly with all curves of the crash bars parallel to the line of the motorbike
  • In the crash bar is attached to the motorbike via a special fastening system (included) where during a crash the force is carried to linking screws not directly to the block of the engine or frame
  • The upper portion is designed to be highly impact resilient specifically so that it will not cave into the plastics unlike other bars on the market with large, unsupported loops on top
  • The upper portion is also designed to be NOT be right next to your knees like other crashbars will larger upper loops.
  • Extremely tight tolerances and straightforward attachment to the factory provided mounting points make for an easy installation
  • Works in conjunction with nearly all bash plates on the market (BMW, SW-Motech, Wunderlich, etc.)

Crashbar Review by Crash Bar
Overall Rating
Great looking bars. A VERY tight fit. Some of the bolt holes are a little off, but bending and prying the bars will work them into shape. Does rub a little bit on my right fairing... (Posted on 4/21/12)
Good Deal Review by Jimbo FXR4/F800gs
Overall Rating
was over all happy with the bars, dirrections/illistrations could have been better for the non mechanicaly inclinde/lack of imagination..........lol The bars did have some rust on them at joints which I was not happy about but I will clean & touch up and just keep them on. I would recomend these bars without hesitation. (Posted on 4/16/12)
Great product Review by drdugg
Not the easiest crashbars I've installed, but the looks are worth the slightly extra work, (and cost). Everyone that has seen it raves about the looks. Makes the F800 look even more awsome than it already did, (and ready for business). (Posted on 11/30/11)
Great bars with maximum coverage! Review by SomeGuy
These bars offer maximum coverage of the important bits and the tupperware, and they look great to boot. Love 'em. (Posted on 9/17/11)
wild@heart crash bars Review by sheff
Good looking bars, offering protection to upper fairing and radiator mountings (which are plastic), bars well finished but found some of the hole centres do not line up with hole centres on BMW frame, this in turn put excess strain on mounting bolts which then could not be set with correct torque, had to elongate holes to get maximum adjustment and to release strain, this was all done with a file and after it was done the bars fitted easily and quickly, the bars themselves due to the design will have to be removed for servicing so it is important that they fit easily, also make sure that the bolts that you have to re-use for the radiator brackets are set screw bolts as shown in the picture supplied with crash bars, on my bike were torque scews, these are the last bolts to be tightend up and once the fairing is fitting you cannot get to the bolt,
Overall very pleased with bars and very pleased to deal with F800 Depot, excellent sevice (Posted on 9/7/11)
Love em! Review by khiett
The crashbars installed with no issues, and look great. Can't wait to lay the bike down and see if they really do work. (Posted on 7/30/11)
Great crash bars Review by grothe704
I've had the Wild@Heart crash bars for about a month now. The installation instructions could have used some better pictures but they were still pretty easy to get on. They are very, very sturdy, with great protection covering more than any other setup than I have seen. They might be a little more than other crash bars but I think they are definitely worth it. wild@heart crashbars Review by pennsrider
i,ve had my wild@heart for over a year now and i.m still very pleased with them. From ease of mounting, excellent build quality and fantastic rugged looks to excellent quality. My knees never touch these bars and have not gotten in the way with maintance. The only problem i had was not all hardware was included in box but after some haggling f800 depot made things right. These are worth the money in my opion (Posted on 2/18/11)
